Colorado Baptists Disaster Relief Team exists for the purpose of relief and recovery efforts in the event of disasters, both natural and manmade.  Trained persons respond in the event of such disasters with ministry through chaplaincy, clean-up and chainsaw crews, feeding unit support, child care, and other needs.  

FRIDAY EVE – 6:30 – 6:45pm    Welcome and Introductions
                           6:45 – 7:15pm     Involving Southern Baptists in Disaster Relief
                           7:15 – 9:30pm     The Need for Communication During Disaster
                                                           Chain Saw Training
                                                           Feeding Unit Training (2 Day Training)
SATURDAY –   8:00 am – 1:00 pm
                                                           Feeding Unit Training
                                                           Mud-Out Training
                           12:00 – 1:00 pm  Lunch (Prepared by Feeding Unit)

TRAINING COST: $30 PER PERSON 

NOTE:  *If you do not have personal health insurance, you cannot be involved in a Disaster Relief Mission Trip of any kind.  You can still take the training in the event that you obtain insurance in the future.  A signed release is required.

** A current background check is required for every person in order to participate in a Disaster Relief Mission Trip of any kind. A completed background check must be acquired prior to deployment. If you do not have a current background check we will provide one for you at the cost of $15.
